Why Corry Community Foundation?
Since its inception in 1999, the Corry Community Foundation has amassed more than $13 million in individual and agency endowments. It works to connect donors to their favorite nonprofits.
When an individual or a family creates an endowment within the Foundation, the original gift grows while the earnings can help local nonprofits far into the future. Our flexible and tax-efficient model ensures your charitable gift has the greatest impact in Corry.
Types of Funds
A permanent endowment allows you to build a source of philanthropic support for generations to come. Named funds, with a minimum gift ranging from $10,000 to $25,000, may be established during a donor’s lifetime or via bequest. Through our funds, you can establish an endowment that best suits your philanthropic goals and improves the quality of life for all in our region.
Donor Advised
Engage actively with your philanthropy through a Donor Advised Fund, which gives you the freedom to recommend grants to nonprofit organizations of your choice. The Foundation staff provides valuable insights and information about nonprofits aligning with your philanthropic interests, ensuring your giving makes a meaningful impact.
Donor Designated
Make a lasting impact on specific charitable organizations with a Donor Designated Fund. Direct annual support to one or more nonprofits of your choice, providing stable funding for their vital programs and initiatives. Your generosity strengthens the capacity of organizations dedicated to making a difference in Corry.
Agency Fund
An agency fund provides nonprofits with a reliable and stable income source for their mission, offering access to grants periodically or as required, while the fund continues to grow indefinitely.
Field of Interest Fund
Channel your passion for specific causes or regions within Corry through a Field of Interest Fund. Whether you prioritize education, healthcare, housing, cultural assets, or other vital areas, this fund enables the Foundation to direct your gift to outstanding nonprofits addressing issues close to your heart. Together, we create positive change in areas that matter most to our community and everyone’s quality of life.
Community Impact
If you have broad charitable interests, a Community Impact Fund will help you support Corry’s most pressing needs under the guidance of the Foundation’s trustees and staff.
Scholarship Fund
Support the educational aspirations of Corry students by establishing a Scholarship Fund. Shape the future by specifying selection and award criteria. Your generosity opens doors to opportunity and fosters academic achievement for generations.
Pass-Through Funds
Make a gift through The Corry Community Foundation to your preferred nonprofit. Pass-Through Funds may be helpful if you wish to give in an anonymous way or have a unique property to give as a charitable gift.

Give to the Corry Community Foundation Mini-Grant Fund
Mini-Grants are used by our nonprofits for smaller, immediate needs. They are made available through the generosity of our donors who make non-endowed gifts to the Corry Community Foundation. One hundred percent of these gifts are returned to our community through this Mini-Grant program.
